Led end-to-end creative execution, including production, editing, art direction and sound for Careers In The Making, establishing a cinematic language that is now embedded in the core identity of Cannes Lions. The series played a key role in elevating the Festival’s storytelling during a year of 26,900 entries and more than 25,000 attendees, driving sustained engagement across digital channels. This contribution supported the Festival’s ability to attract global talent and aligned with the strong performance of Informa’s Festivals division, which achieved 8.3% underlying revenue growth and over 20% reported revenue growth in 2025.
ROLE
I shaped both the visual and narrative identity of the series. Through production, art direction, editing, and sound design, I crafted a cohesive cinematic language that highlighted the authenticity of each story while maintaining a consistent emotional tone. The approach balanced visual clarity with human depth, celebrating creativity not just as an output, but as a lived experience.

Careers In The Making serves as a powerful storytelling platform, offering visibility to talent, fostering connection, and reinforcing Cannes Lions as the hub for global creative excellence. The series lives permanently across the Festival’s digital ecosystem, including social media and website, where it continues to attract audiences and strengthen the brand’s position as the definitive voice of the creative industry.

Careers In The Making is a Cannes Lions original series that captures those stories, spotlighting the journeys of creatives from around the world and exploring how the Festival continues to influence and shape their careers. “Keep going”  have defined Bernice Puleng Mosala’s creative journey. After entering the Young Lions Competition for the first time in 2019, Bernice claimed victory in 2020 but couldn’t attend the Festival due to Covid. Fast forward to 2023, she triumphed in her local Lions Competition, and this year, she took home Gold at Cannes. For Careers In The Making, this is her story.
