SOPHISTICATED ENIGLISH CRIME
ART EXHIBITION
I was part of the collective exhibition CRIMEN ‘011, commissioned by Eugenia García at the Art Centre La Estación in Dénia. CRIMEN 011 explores our fascination with crime as a threshold territory where body, space and violence converge.
The exhibition focuses on the brief moment in which violence pauses to allow an aesthetic revelation, creating a dialogue between image, text and the codes of the crime genre. Through this hybrid approach, it invited the viewer to take an active role, as observer, interpreter or accomplice, within an imaginary that uses crime to reflect on order, tension and mystery.
